How to get your heart health checked?
If I go to a primary care doc, he/she will just send a to some radiology or someplace else.

What kind of specialist can I go directly who can do my heart health check-up? I have Aetna PPO so don’t need referral.

A physical exam, lipid profile, echocardiogram and stress test constitute a check for heart health and all can be done by a competent primary provider. If you prefer a cardiologist that would be fine but his bill to Aetna (and your copay if any) will be higher.
