Anything green….spinach, broccoli, beans, lettuce, things like that. I’ve also heard red wine, but not in excess quantities.

Pretty much anything low in fat, sodium and sugar are good for your heart. Fruits, vegetables, chicken and fish are good examples. Foods with essential fatty acids like the omegas found in fish like salmon are especially heart healthy because they help to keep cholesterol down. So does flaxseed and oat bran.

pomegranite juice, cranberries, whole wheat bread ( no sugar or high fructose corn syrup). fish and more fish especially wild red salmon from alaska, cabbage, kale, spinach, broccoli, brown rice, salads with olive oil and vinegar, kiwis, oranges, cooker tomatos and sauce(not too much salt or oil), sardines from spain, olive oil from spain, make sure it is cold pressed extra virgin, a little red wine each day, FILL UP WITH FIBER. oh yeah lots of blueberries.

Mostly avoid the bad stuff. oil that is not canola or olive, saturated fats, sugar, anything white (except tuna) , fats of the wrong kind but omega 3 fats are good.

Cereals that are full of fiber, lean meats, lots of vegtables and fruit. Avoid fried foods, excessive salt and sweets. Eat fat free cheeses and mayonnaise.
